Former Tyson Poultry Plant demolition

 

(The long-awaited demolition of a portion of the old chicken processing plant at Heron Park is pictured this week. Crews from JNT Enterprises will be demolishing dilapidated structures on the properties and cleaning up other buildings, thanks to a strategic demolition grant the Town of Berlin received from the Maryland Department  of Housing and Community Development.)

Pocomoke City 4/29 Sessions postponed.

 

The Mayor and Council's FY 2025 Budget Work Session and Closed Session, previously scheduled for April 29, 2024 at 6:30 PM, has been postponed to a date to be determined.  The date and time of the next work session will be posted when scheduled.

Names of indicted suspected drug dealers released.

The names of eight more suspected drug dealers, who were indicted by a multi-district grand jury on the Eastern Shore of Virginia earlier this month, were disclosed in court records late last week.
