ROCKET LAB OFFICIALLY CHOOSES WALLOPS FOR NEUTRON LAUNCHES

RICHMOND, VA – Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced that Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (Nasdaq: RKLB), a global leader in launch services and space systems, has selected Wallops Island, Virginia in Accomack County as the location for its launch site and extensive manufacturing and operations facilities for its Neutron rocket, which is expected to create up to 250 new jobs.

Masks in public schools now optional on lower Eastern Shore

 

Mandatory mask requirements have been lifted in the public schools in Worcester, Somerset, and Wicomico Counties, including on school buses.  However, wearing a mask in the school environment is strongly recommended.

Maryland school districts will make mask decisions

A panel of Maryland lawmakers voted Friday to end a statewide emergency order and enable local school districts to decide whether students must wear face coverings in school.
