2005..  A 22-member task force apparently won't be able to come up with a solution to Chesapeake Bay Bridge traffic problems.

1926..  Merchants and auto dealers are putting on a big Exposition in Salisbury.

1882..  A new 400 ton steamboat is being built in Pocomoke City.

Time Machine Preview

This Sunday here at The Pocomoke Public Eye..

1983..  (Picture) "Bridge To Wonderland" float in the Pocomoke City Christmas Parade.

1989..  Campbell Soup Company announces it's closing their plants in Pocomoke and Crisfield.

1922..  Construction is underway in Pocomoke City on "the largest and best equipped" department store on the Eastern Shore.

1931..   A large crowd is expected at Pocomoke's new outdoor boxing arena which can seat 4,000 fans.

1893..   Should fencing be required to keep cows and hogs in check in the Eastern Shore of Virginia's Atlantic District?
