Roadwork begins November 9th

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin a project to improve the ride quality on MD 366 (Stockton Road) from US 13 Business (Ocean Highway) to Klej Grange Road near Snow Hill. All work should be completed by December, weather permitting.

Starting Thursday, November 9, crews will begin removing the top layer of asphalt of the roadway to prepare for paving and line striping operations. Crews will work weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Motorists can expect single-lane closures throughout the duration of the project.

The State Highway Administration understands that roadwork will inconvenience travelers but is necessary to maintain a worldclass transportation system. Motorcyclists are urged to be aware of uneven pavement surfaces during the project.
