Weather shortens Saturday OC Air show-

        Blue Angels earlier this week.

After the OC Air Show slate on June 14 was cut short by perilous weather conditions for flying in Ocean City, organizers issued a statement about the situation and what comes next in the early evening.

Here's what the OC Air Show's Chris Dirato said in the evening statement:

"Unfortunately, today’s weather forced the early conclusion of Saturday’s event. While everyone worked hard to get as much of the show in as possible, the cloud ceilings and visibility dropped below FAA minimum safety requirements, preventing several scheduled performers from flying, including the Blue Angels. Safety always remains the top priority and today’s conditions left no margin to continue."

Dirato went on to explain that some help is being offered to people who paid for viewing area tickets for the June 14 show and want to say for June 15's show.

"Per the event’s published policy, all tickets are non-refundable in the event of weather impacts. However, in appreciation of our guests and recognizing today’s unique circumstances, we are offering special courtesy accommodations for impacted Saturday ticket holders to attend Sunday’s show.

It is well established that colonel William Stevens died without issue (he was childless) so all you people who claim to be descended from him can go back to sleep now.

A Strong Showing From The Pocomoke Community To Stand Up To Gun Violence | Latest News | wboc.com

6/10/25 -

Mayor Nock (Facebook):

Thank You, Pocomoke. Let’s Do This.

Tonight, over 100 people showed up for our Emergency Public Safety Meeting — and let me just say, Pocomoke showed up strong.

I was determined not to leave the Middle School without real, actionable solutions. And thanks to the power of community, we’re moving forward with purpose and unity:

- Three new surveillance cameras will be installed in key areas across town.

- More foot patrols will be added in neighborhoods where they’re needed most.

- Our Neighborhood Watch program is officially coming back.

-  A Youth Task Force is launching to give our young people not just a seat at the table — but a mission.

- The City and Pocomoke High School will restart the Youth Council to amplify student leadership and civic engagement.

- Our Pocomoke Arts Commission gained over 10 new volunteers ready to inspire creativity and positive expression.

- And in just one evening, we raised $35,000 toward building a community center — because safe spaces for our neighbors matter.

To every resident, partner, and supporter who came out, asked questions, and offered solutions — thank you. This is how change begins. Shoulder to shoulder. One step at a time.

We’ve got work to do, but together, we’ve got everything we need to do it.

Let’s go, PO.
