ReplyDeleteSweet corn and tomato sandwiches! I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteDo you put mayonnaise on your tomato sandwiches or just salt and pepper?
ReplyDeleteSalt, pepper and mayonnaise. And it's gotta be fresh white bread, the kind that sticks to the roof of your mouth.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! You gotta get the bread that morning, and be sure to check the freshness date on it. And you have to eat it that day. Day old bread does not go with fresh tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteA sliced cumcumber and onion salad with a mayo, dill, salt and pepper dressing-Yummy!
ReplyDeleteGood gracious, after these comments "I am starving to death!"
ReplyDeleteWho has ripe tomatoes yet? I've got some Supersonic and Better Boy with big green ones but nothing ripe yet and the Better Boys have a huge crop of aphids. I also have some heirloom varieties I got from Terry Thomas; Black Sea Man and German Johnson. A few blossoms on those but no fruit yet.
