Body Recovered From Pond in Northampton County / Virginia

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY (WAVY) - The body recovered from a Northampton County pond has been sent to the Norfolk Medical Examiner for identification.

The male body was found Wednesday in a pond near Bahama Road in Cape Charles, Sheriff David Doughty said.

The Medical Examiner will also determine the individual's cause of death.

Both the Cape Charles Police Department and the Northampton Sheriff's Office are investigating the case.
