Solar Power ?

The sun erupted Tuesday evening, and the most noticeable effects should arrive here between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. EST Thursday, according to forecasters at the space weather center. The effects could linger through Friday morning
　
The sun, they say, erupted into a solar explosion on Tuesday and those of us on Earth should have felt the effects during daylight hours on Thursday. Scientists predicted that it could possibly disrupt technology....GPS services, satellite networks, etc.


The solar storm ended not being as massive as scientists had stated or possibly had hoped for.


But the solar blast did, however, have an effect of the simple tools in our society.

Namely: The BROOM

For those that are doubtful, I can assure that neither broom is leaning against anything nor holding up a ceiling.  Photos were taken in an office and a home - miles apart.
