(Updated) Pocomoke Firemen assisted in Baltimore

(Additional information from the City of Pocomoke Facebook page)

The Baltimore City Fire Department asked for assistance from the whole state to send personnel and equipment to staff 38 fire stations within Baltimore City. BCFD has more than 500 people on duty per day.
Members of the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Department answered that call. There was an application process and stringent criteria/qualifications had to be met. They exceeded that criteria and were chosen to assist. Engine 102 departed Pocomoke City on February 2nd at 1 am to gather at the M&T Bank Stadium at 5 am for station assignments, instructions, and orientation.
The following Pocomoke City Fire Department volunteers reported for duty:
Driver/Operator: Asst. Chief Eric Denston FF/Paramedic
Officer: Noah King FF/EMT
Crew 1: AJ Miller FF/Paramedic
Crew 2: Tyler Fairman FF/EMT
Crew 3: Josh Weichmann FF
Crew 4: Deyton Dean FF/EMT

Wednesday members from the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company traveled to Baltimore City to assist members of the Baltimore City Fire Company in handling calls for service while they laid 3 members killed in the line of duty to rest. For the first time in their 225 year history, the entire Baltimore City Fire Company was out of service so they could properly honor their fallen brothers and sisters. Pocomoke Engine 102 and Prince Frederick Engine 21 were assigned to Engine 41/Batallion 1 in the Highlandtown area of Baltimore.
