Pocomoke High School celebrated the grand opening of its community garden Monday night! Guests enjoyed fresh food samples made on site, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and even harvested produce from the garden beds. The event also revealed the garden’s name, chosen by community vote — Warrior Roots. A huge thank you to UMES Extension 4-H, UMD Extension, and the Worcester County Health Department for partnering with PHS to make this initiative possible. #PartnershipsInAction #WeAreWorcester
