The Pocomoke City Police Department is asking all residents, visitors, and business patrons to please refrain from parking vehicles on sidewalks throughout the City of Pocomoke City.
As of September 15, 2026, officers will issue Maryland State Citations to the registered owners of vehicles found in violation of the applicable parking regulations.
Maryland Transportation Article § 21-1003(c) — Stopping, standing, or parking prohibited in specified places.
“A person may not stop, stand, or park a vehicle on a sidewalk.”
