Harris loses his cool, refuses reporter's question-

   (WMDT)

... after being asked why he attended this year’s forum, Harris had a viral, combative exchange with reporters and threatened to call police on Capital News Service reporter Cat Murphy for recording him after he incorrectly claimed Maryland’s two-party consent law applied to a public forum.

“You wanted the war in Iran, you said that it could have gone smoother and it could have gone better. What did you mean by that?” asked Murphy.

“Take her camera. You’re gonna have to take her camera. She is violating the law. In fact, get an officer in here,” Harris said. “She’s violating the law on two-party recording.”

Afterward, when pressed by reporters to answer questions, Harris refused to answer.

“All right, guys, [Murphy is] ruining all your chances to get an answer about anything. See y’all,” he said. Harris took no further questions and left.

(Pocomoke Public Eye note: The two-party recording law applies to the recording of private conversations.)

Some recollections of Pocomoke City (3)

Here's a third excerpt from a writer (John Glenn Townsend) to the Pocomoke City newspaper in 1926 reminiscing the time some fifty years earlier when he was a resident here.

"Suddenly It's 1960!" and then...

Older senior citizens may recall this:

In the Fall of 1948, members of the future Pocomoke High School graduating class of 1960 climbed the wooden steps up the old school on Walnut Street to begin their school careers.

And then, "Suddenly it's 1960!"

And then, suddenly it's 2026 and numerous members of the PHS class of '60 met at Don's Seafood in Pocomoke this past weekend to reminisce about their school days of 66+ years ago and to catch up on current goings-on in their former classmate's lives... and looking forward to their next group get-together in October 2027!
