(UPDATED) Jackson Holliday won't be on the big team to start season.

The Pocomoke Public Eye will be keeping an eye on former Delmarva Shorebird Jackson Holliday who's been in Spring Training with the Baltimore Orioles.  Last season Holliday sped through the ranks from Low 'A,' High 'A," Double 'A,' and Triple 'A.'  Will we see him on the Baltimore team later this season?

Orioles executive VP/General Manager Mike Elias:

“He’s very, very close. He’s very ahead of schedule. He’s done remarkably well. We couldn’t be more excited about his future, but you’re talking about the development of a player who has the opportunity to be one of the better, if not best players in the league, and we’re very professional about how we develop guys."
