The drawbridge at Pocomoke City is scheduled to be closed to vehicular traffic for about two months beginning September 8th while a work project is in progress. Downtown Pocomoke will still be easily accessible with detour signs pointing the way and with no significant delays anticipated.
Pocomoke residents- Let your out-of-town contacts know that Downtown Pocomoke City will still be open and available for all the normal matters of business that they're accustomed to here and they should have no hesitation to come on in during the bridge project.
