An archived edition of the Worcester Democrat was not available for this week 100 years ago. We are using the edition for this week 85 years ago.
NOTE: We believe the location referred to would have been on the east side of Willow Street between Clarke Avenue and Second Street.

NOTE: ACME opened at the new location and operated there many years until it moved further out Market Street to the new Ames Plaza shopping complex in the 1970's.
