Cookies With Santa!

 

Pocomoke City Police Department will be hosting “Cookies with Santa” on Saturday December 14, 2024, from 11AM to 2PM. Families are invited to join us for cookies and Christmas spirit! 🎅🏻🎄🍪

•Each child will be given a cookie, and the opportunity to make last minute Christmas wishes to Santa himself. They can also find out if they’ve made the naughty or NICE LIST! ✅📋 

•Photographs of your child and Santa will be offered free of charge 📷

Live entertainment & music onstage all night!

Children can decorate Christmas cookies, make a holiday ornament, and visit with Mr. & Mrs. Claus!

There will be a Holiday Wreath Silent Auction to raise money for the Boys & Girls Club! If interested in donating a wreath, please email karah@pocomokemd.gov - prizes awarded!

Delmarva Discovery Museum Holiday Events

The Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company's Rescue Boat 1 will be bringing Santa Claus to the Delmarva Discovery Museum at 1PM on SUNDAY, December 17th at the dock at Cypress Park.  Come out and see our fire company's trained water rescue team and our rescue boat always ready to respond to our community.

Crisfield Boat Parade

 

The Crisfield Boast Parade was postponed on December 2nd due to fog and is now scheduled for December 9th from 6 to 8pm.

The Boat Parade starts at the marina, proceeds past the City Dock, Wellington Beach, and American Legion to Tawes Nursing Home and back to the marina.

Santa will be seated in front of the Grand Fireplace to visit with the kids from 11am to 2pm. Door prizes and giveaways will be announced every 30 minutes.

Worcester County Recreation & Parks (WCRP) is excited to announce two new events in Maryland’s Coast, Worcester County. Save the date for free drive in movies and laser shows during the month of December.

On Friday, December 9, The Polar Express will be showing on the big screen at John Walter Smith Park in Snow Hill. On Saturday, December 10, The Grinch will be shown at Newtown Park in Pocomoke. After the conclusion of both movies, the sky will be lit up with an exciting laser show performance. Vehicle parking will begin at 6:00 p.m. and showtime starts at 7:00 p.m.  

The addresses to the parks are John Walter Smith Park at 6022 Public Landing Rd, Snow Hill MD 21863 and Newtown Park at 2001 Groton Rd, Pocomoke MD 21851.

Don’t miss out these outdoor events, bring a blanket, some of your favorite snacks and enjoy one or more of these great holiday movies and laser show performance with your friends and family.
