Mayor Nock: "an important milestone"-

Mayor Todd J. Nock says an important milestone has been reached regarding Pocomoke City's Safe Paths Initiative:

As of April 28th, bids for Phase 1 of our road repaving project have officially closed. In keeping with our commitment to transparency, all sealed bids were opened publicly in the presence of the bidders, and we received three proposals.
Now, we move into the next phase. The bids will be presented to me and the City Council for review, and this Monday evening, the Council will select the proposal that best meets the needs of our community.
From there, work will begin.
This is more than just paving roads. It is about creating safer, smoother, and more connected pathways throughout Pocomoke City. It is about investing in infrastructure that supports our residents today and positions us for a stronger tomorrow.
Progress is happening, and the Safe Paths Initiative is moving forward.
