A historic chapter in Pocomoke City's business history reaches its conclusion Saturday, 9/13, when Scher's Bridal Shop closes its doors for the final time. Scher's clothing opened at the current Market Street location in 1933 and has been operated by three generations of the Scher family: Phillip & Rose Scher, Leonard & Beverly Scher and Irving & Doris Scher, and Marc & Judy Scher.
