SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds, in conjunction with the Maryland Stadium Authority and Wicomico County, are excited to announce renovations to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium ahead of the 2025 season of Shorebirds baseball. The project includes a new 9,000 sq ft indoor performance center, along with renovations to clubhouses, weight rooms, bullpens, lighting, and more making Perdue Stadium a premiere facility in Minor League Baseball.

An interesting piece of trivia about him is that when Cal Ripken finally broke his consecutive games streak, it was Ryan Minor who replaced him in the line-up.
When Baltimore Orioles top draft pick Jackson Holliday started this season with the Delmarva Shorebirds most fans probably didn't expect him to be here on the Eastern Shore very long.. and they were right. So how's he doing since his move up to High 'A' Aberdeen?

Earlier this week-
Jackson Holliday started at second base and led the offense. He went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, a walk, four RBI, and two runs scored.
Delmarva had the most dominant showing of the night, moving to 4-1 on the new season. Every member of the lineup got on base at least once, and some did far better than that. And the pitching staff worked around some early struggles to shut Kannapolis down the rest of the way.

SHOREBIRDS TO HOST 60 HOME GAMES IN 2021. The Delmarva Shorebirds have released a 2021 schedule featuring 60 home games at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium with Opening Night slated for Tuesday, May 4. Recently, the Shorebirds accepted the Baltimore Orioles invitation to remain their Low-A affiliate and will play in the North Division of the newly constructed Low-A East League.
