 CNN journalist Erin Burnett is an Eastern Shore native.

Erin Burnett was born on July 2, 1976 at Peninsula General Hospital in Salisbury to Mr. and  Mrs. K. King Burnett.  Her father was a prominent attorney in the Salisbury area. The family's home was at Mardela Springs. Erin attended the Salisbury School through her early teens, a private school for academically qualified students.  She completed school at St. Andrew's Boarding School in Middletown, De., and later graduated from Williams College, a private liberal arts college in Williamstown, Ma.  Before joining CNN she was a business reporter for CNBC.

I knew K. King Burnett well. He was a very liberal attorney and counselor of choice of Ilia Fehrer. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

The Maryland-Delaware-D.C. Press Association has removed Edward J. Clarke, the late editor and owner of the Worcester Democrat, from its Hall of Fame after a review of his published work revealed vile commentary, extreme racism and the promotion of lynching.

Decisions, decisions. Where do I turn for News?

I'm FOX NEWS.. viewing the broad horizon through a keyhole. I'm the money-making machine that thrives by telling folks what they want to hear. No, no, no we don't bend toward conservative agendas or cater to unspoken or spoken prejudices. We're Fair And Balanced. 

I'm CNN.. and folks use the horrible word Liberal to describe me.  Folks say my reporters, anchors, and writers conspire to slant and make up news to fit their Liberal views. Ouch! We were under the illusion we were exercising our freedom of the press in an unbiased effort to inform the public. We asked the President for his evaluation.
