“as to why she is no longer on Websleuths….you din’t do enough reading because you would have found that she exposed a sex offender as a moderator , and wished to no longer put her posts in their hands.”

My name is Tricia Griffith and I own Websleuths.com

The above comment is an out and out lie. I banned Blink. No need to go into the reasons but the only reason Blink quit posting was because I blocked her from doing so.

As far as the sex offender, it was someone not associated with Blink who dug up the information on one of our administrators. As soon as I was made aware of this Admin’s sex crime against children I banned her and never spoke to her again. Blink had NOTHING to do with this at all.

If Blink had information about this sex offender and never told anyone then she was extremely irresponsible. I know Blink never told me.

Moment of Silence This Morning

Obama observing moment of silence for 9/11 victims

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will lead the country in pausing to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Nearly 3,000 people died on that tragic day eight years ago as hijacked jetliners smashed into New York's World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in western Pennsylvania.

The president and first lady Michelle Obama will observe a moment of silence Friday at 8:46 a.m. Eastern Time, the moment the first jetliner struck the World Trade Center.

Then the president will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Pentagon memorial, where 184 people were killed.

Obama and Defense Secretary Robert Gates are to meet with victims' relatives

We Will Always Remember !

A comment worthy of a post.

From an anonymous poster;

I think it is about time that the citizens of Pocomoke and surrounding area take a stand to protect your wonderful fire fighters and law enforcement! I have never heard any complaints in my life about either unless it happened in their personal lives and that is seldom, very seldom, to none!

And while you are at it, take another look at Pocomoke itself. Don't you think it's about time you took a stand for the Mayor? That may be hard to understand but he is under attack in this situation too. The agenda that started out to find thugs that possibly murdered a girl has turned into a witch hunt for everyone in Pocomoke.

The mother of the missing girl and Billy Burke have not gotten the answers they want when they want them, it seems. In order to prove some point this so called investigator has been called in to investigate. She and her goons are not investigators!!!

My thoughts? I think law enforcement has finished their investigation and under the circumstances are not talking. Can't say I blame them.

Wake up Pocomoke. Do something. Don't let this smear the town. Don't let the rest of America think that your town is being driven by hoodlums in a fire department, cops that rule where ever they please and a city hall that spirts venom to its citizens.

If so much is wrong it would have been repaired long ago
not just because one person said so.

Let your fire dept. know, let city hall know, and let law enforcement know that you stand behind them and refuse to believe what blink says. The names of people you all know and love are posted on their website. Go there and read it for yourself.

Christine Sheddy; The Fires of Byrd Rd. who set these fires and why? Were these fires Investigated for arson?

Pocomoke City, MD– Christine Sheddy was murdered on the Byrd Rd Farm in Pocomoke City on the evening of November 12, 2007.

The series of events that led up to her murder are stupifying.

Of Particular concern is the rash of fires occuring on the farm and within surrounding areas in the time frame of both of Christine’s visits there.

Pic1

As the September alarms are no longer accessible on the Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Department Site, you are looking at a cached version confirming the call to the farm and the fact that photos DID exist of what was assuredly a major fire. Three different stations responded at a minimum. The Images have been deleted.

The day before the Byrd road chicken house fire on September 20th, the Showell Fire Department extinguished this chicken house fire:

919chickenhouse

Also a cached version of deleted information from the PVFD site, is this October Alarm Source, through October 23rd, 2007:

Pic2

Effective October 1, 2007 the Worcester County Fire Marshalls Office takes over.

“..The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for conducting fire investigations of all fires in the County where arson is suspected, the fire is undetermined by the fire department, and/or an injury or death has occurred. The Worcester County Fire Marshal’s Office is the local enforcing agency for 3 municipalities and the County…”

Note the October 10th alarm for yet again, a subsequent fire in the chickenhouse on Byrd Road.

On October 11, the neighbors who have already been vicitmized by the Clarence Butch “ Jr” Jackson crew, are victimized again. As you can see the Fire Marshall visits Byrd Road.

What the record does not say, is that the neighbors are awakened at 3 am by the Fire Marshall and Deputy Parnell from the PCPD. They were told if they called the Fire Department one more time for fires on the neighboring property, they would be arrested.

On the exact same day that JR Jackson unsuccessfully seeks peace orders against the neighbors that are simply trying to avoid the menace of his existance at this point are denied on October 13th; there is another chicken house fire. Fire Police and Pocomoke PD are in attendance.

Another outside fire call on October 17th. There is no data past October 23rd on fire activity available for this time frame.

The November calls have been deleted entirely by the Pocomake VFD. The site is managed and maintained by “Choppy Layton” a long time Vounteer Fire Fighter and by all accounts, a solid guy.

What is astounding, is that I am in receipt of an email that confirms a witness gave a statement to Detective Trautman, the original detective in this case, on February 12, 2008.

Should we consider it a coincidence then, that the last time the PVFD site is updated, and apparently when the November alarms were deleted is February 12, 2008?

Pic3

We have eyewitness accounts of fires on the Byrd Road farmhouse from November 9th through the 13th at a minimum. Fire Police and Marshalls have been to the property. By my accounting, we are talking in the neighborhood of 12 fire alarms to this property alone, starting one month after an emergency outdoor burn ban.

Why hasn’t Clarence Jackson been charged with arson?

Any other suspects? Dead Issue? We know there are surveillance still pictures and security guard witnesses, what did they see?

What is the ratio of alarm calls versus arson arrests?

I digress.

Who was copied on the confirmation email containing a witness statement on February 12, 2008?

Michael McDermott.

Snakes at Wal*Mart

I just heard on the news that another person has been bitten by a snake (copperhead) at a Wal*Mart store.

This is 3 or 4 that I know of that have been bitten at different Wal*Mart stores.

I don't know what attracts snakes to Wal*Mart stores but if you have green thumb and like the Wal*Mart garden section please watch what you pick-up and look before you grab a flower. And whatever you do, don't let you children out of your site in the garden section.

I'd have a fit if I grabbed a snake, not to mention if it was a poisonous snake that bit me.

Yuck

9/11 Memorial Car for NASCAR

Memorial car to race in
Va. on Sept. 11

- A custom-designed racecar bearing the phrase "Always Remember" was unveiled Monday by NASCAR's Benny Gordon across from the World Trade Center site.

Gordon will race the car on Sept. 11 at the Richmond International Speedway in Virginia. It also bears the phrase "9/11 Memorial," a reference to the National Sept. 11 Memorial and Museum.

Gordon co-owns the North South Motorsports team, based in Dubois, Pa. It's near the memorial site for United 93, one of four hijacked jetliners that crashed on Sept. 11, 2001.

"It's a real honor and privilege for us to do this," said Gordon, adding that hearing the stories of firefighters and police officers has been "incredible."

The car is a black, blue and white Ford Fusion with patriotic stars and stripes. After being delivered in a 53-foot-long truck, the hood was removed so trade center responders could sign its underside.

"I don't know much about NASCAR, but now I've become a huge fan," said retired fire Lt. Mickey Krofs, who survived the collapse of the trade center's north tower.

The unveiling took place at the museum preview site, where visitors can use interactive computers and view photos and a model of what the ground zero site eventually will look like.

"No matter what profession you're in, there are important ways to contribute to building a 9/11 memorial and museum," said Joseph Daniels, president of the 9/11 Memorial Foundation, adding that he hopes the car will inspire NASCAR fans to learn more about the memorial.

Jim O'Connell, NASCAR spokesman, said up to 75,000 people will be in the stands at the NASCAR Nationwide Series, and he predicted about 2 million TV viewers would watch it on ESPN 2. An identical car is ready as a backup, in case the other one is damaged in the race.

It's assigned No. 72, the number of retired racer Bill McKenzie, who's now part of Gordon's team.

The vehicle, with a 358 engine by Roush Yates, can reach around 200 mph.

"I hope everybody is cheering for us, and I hope we have a good run," Gordon said.

Pocomoke; Man Charged with multiple thefts from Wal*Mart

A Salisbury man has been charged with stealing more than $1,100 in merchandise over the course of four visits to the Pocomoke City Walmart Supercenter.

From Aug. 8 to Aug. 24, Gary Belote allegedly walked away with cell phone SIM cards, walkie-talkies, voice recorders and sunglasses.

He faces one count of theft of more than $500 in value, three counts of theft less than $500 in value, two counts of theft scheme and trespassing. If found guilty of the single charge of theft of items more than $500 in value, he could face up to 15 years in prison and a fine of $25,000.

According to police records filed in Worcester County District Court, on Aug. 24 a security official from Walmart contacted the Pocomoke City Police Department about a possible theft. Belote was seen on a security camera allegedly tampering with the packaging for a prepaid cell phone.

Police stopped the suspect as he was leaving the store on a bicycle. A SIM card was found in his pocket.

The phone and its packaging were found in the store near the fishing equipment. "The packet was cut open and the SIM card was the only thing missing," according to court documents.

A review of security footage revealed that Belote -- who was supposed to be restrained by a no-trespassing order for the Pocomoke City Walmart stemming from a September 2008 incident -- had allegedly stolen from the store on at least three other occasions.

According to police documents, on Aug. 8 he walked away with $800 in sunglasses. Tapes from Aug. 21 allegedly show Belote stealing two prepaid cell phones worth $92.88 and a pair of walkie-talkies valued at $49.94.

Two days later, Belote allegedly stole from the store again, this time a voice recorder and an iPod.

Belote was apprehended when he returned the following day. He is currently being held at the Worcester County Jail on $8,500 bond.

In September 2008, Belote was arrested for theft of less than $500, malicious destruction of property and failing to obey an officer of the law stemming from an incident at the same Walmart. He pleaded guilty to the theft charge and was sentenced to six months in jail.

Belote was also convicted of illegal drug possession in Ocean City in May 2008 and was found guilty of failing to pay required child support in November 2008. Several earlier run-ins with police took place between 1993 and 2004, according to court records; in a 2004 case, Belote pleaded guilty to the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.

A hearing for the Walmart case will be held Sept. 25 in Worcester County District Court.

Tree-hugging Moonbats worship Trees

People! this is the liberal democrats that are running our government at present.

Pocomoke Fire department under Fire by a blogger

In the long events and stretched-out stories by BlinkOnCrime to use the murder of missing Christine Sheddy to assure attention and repeat readers the blinkoncrime website and author has gone too far.

For those that are not following along, the investigative ‘reporters’ team of blinkoncrime has not only brought forth terrible memories to a person that has more than paid their dues to society but has gone as for as to implicate the Pocomoke volunteer fire dept. in a scheme to cover for the murder of Christine Sheddy.

This is just an outrage and a vicious attack on the men and women of the PVFD

Here’s a direct quote From the blinkoncrime article titled;

“Is There a Fox in The Firehall?”

[quote]” Is that the reason that the searches on the property where the Pocomoke City FD were in attendance yielded nothing?”[quote]

Our VFD are men and women that will risk their lives to go into an inferno to save a kitten, that to me tells us of their instinct to do the ‘right thing’ they need not, nor do they deserve to be accused of a cover-up for “one of their own” by an outsider.

The blinkoncrime website goes on to say;

“It would seem finding her remains would yield heavy coverage.”

While it may do just that I can assure you that our fine men and women of the PCVFD could care less about “coverage” unlike the attention that obviously “investigative reporters” crave and will say anything to get that “coverage”

These are people that were volunteers at organized foot searches for Christine and wanted nothing more than to find Christine and bring closure to her family and justice to those involved. I just cannot get over the fact that this group of so-called ‘professionals’ could even bring themselves to insinuate that our VFD doctored reports and covered for “one of their own” it’s beyond comprehension, it’s a vile thing to insinuate.

I pray that Christine is recovered and have stood fast by this case for a long time but I won’t stand-by while our VFD and members are drug threw the mud.

I hope every fireman/woman contacts blinkoncrime and demands an open apology for this accusation. The blink team just spit on the most dedicated people in Pocomoke and in the end the people that could have helped the most.

EDITORS NOTE:

The people of Pocomoke are of an old fashioned, proud people.

This type of thing being put out, even if it is meant to get a reaction will only cause the people of Pocomoke to be tight lipped so the same does not happen to them, a friend, or a loved one.

Bill Harris' Ace Hardware Truck and Car Show

Saturday, September 5, 2009
If you missed this it is a shame. So many wonderful looking cars and trucks were lined up as far as you could see. Here are just a few of the many vehicles that participated. Again this year Bill did a great job making this happen.
