The Pocomoke City Police Department would like to officially welcome all guests and attendees to the Dock Jams event on 10/7/2023. We hope that you enjoy yourself and the beautiful downtown area of Pocomoke City.
We ask for all guest and attendees to be mindful and considerate when parking your vehicle in our downtown area. We ask that you do not block private driveways, fire hydrants, handicap parking, etc... and obey all parking laws. We further ask that you do not park in a matter that obstructs the follow of traffic on any of our streets. Should you not adhere to the laws and this request, enforcement actions may be necessary.
Private property owners if you are not permitting public parking on your property, we recommend you post your property. Again, we thank you for your cooperation and hope that you have a great and safe time.

Admission is free. Festival features include food vendors, open air marketplace, kids activities, Miss Delmarva Chicken Festival Pageant, "Walk Through History" tent, and performances by The Jones Boys Band, Jimmy Charles, and Mike Hines & The Look.
When the festival first made its' appearance in Pocomoke City in the early 1950's it was a multi-day event highlighted by a festival parade with homemade floats, chicken cooked in the world's largest frying pan, and the National Chicken Cooking Contest at the armory which drew national press attention.
The ticket was purchased at Duck In II, 5610 East Market St. A million dollar ticket was also purchased in Rosedale, Md.

The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge (CNWR) again this year to host the 2024 Annual Pass Photo Contest. Forty-seven entries from amateur photographers were submitted for consideration. Leaders from various organizations in the community assisted chamber staff in choosing the final winner.
