Upcoming Pocomoke water main project along portions of Market Street-

POCOMOKE CITY WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

As a part of the City’s ongoing efforts to improve drinking water quality in Pocomoke City, the City has hired a general contractor to perform CIPP lining of the water main along Market Street. The portion of water main undergoing improvements for this project extends from Eighth Street to Old Virginia Road. The project work is expected to commence in Mid-May and be completed in September 2024.

Pocomoke City missed out on a $100,000 grant availability.

Remembering former Somerset County Administrator-

 
Charles E. Massey, former longtime Somerset County Administrator, has died at age 96.  He served in the position for 31 years beginning in 1976.
