(UPDATE) Tuesday: Student experiments launching from Wallops-

(From Shore Daily news info:)

The Wallops Flight Facility launched  a Terrier-Improved Malemute sounding rocket at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The rocket carried nine student-developed experiments to suborbital space as part of NASA’s RockSat programs.  The experiments were developed by teams from universities and community colleges and include instruments to study greenhouse gasses, measure electron density and test a space-rated robotic arm.

The rocket was expected to reach an altitude of about 100 miles before descending by parachute into the Atlantic Ocean for recovery.

Local TV-

Kudos to WBOC veteran and behind the scenes Assistant News Director Bill Mich on his smooth performances filling in for some of the regular news anchors.

David Scott is a new face you'll be seeing on WBOC.  Here's more about David:
David Scott | Bios | wboc.com

WMDT reporter Leila Weah has been making appearances as a news anchor and appears to be adapting well in that new role.

WBOC reporter Lauren Miller has made her first appearance at the anchor desk.

Haven't seen reporter Kristina DeRobertis on WBOC recently? A dependable source told us (previously published here) that  Kristina is heading over to WRDE Coast TV in Milton.  Both stations are owned by Draper Media.
