"Pocomoke, we need YOU."

Mayor Todd J. Nock says:

Pocomoke, we need YOU.

If you love this city and want to play a real role in shaping its future, now is your moment. We are looking for residents who care about Pocomoke’s growth, appearance and overall well-being to step up and serve on several of our city commissions and committees. Your voice, your ideas and your commitment matter.

We currently have open seats on the following

Planning and Zoning Commission

Help guide land use, zoning and long-term planning that will impact Pocomoke for years to come.

Beautification Commission

Be part of the effort to keep our neighborhoods inviting, clean and full of pride.

Economic Development Commission

Support initiatives that attract new opportunities, strengthen local businesses and grow our city’s economic future.

If you want to make a meaningful difference, this is your opportunity.

Requirements:

You must live within Pocomoke City limits and be willing to attend at least one meeting each month. No special background is needed. All you need is a desire to serve and help move our city forward.

How to Get Involved:

Contact Melinda Stafford at MStafford@PocomokeMd.gov or send me a direct message and I will pass your information along.

Pocomoke is strongest when more voices are at the table. If you are ready to help shape what comes next, we welcome you.

Hawaii performance-

Congratulations to the Stephen Decatur High School Band on their live performance at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii. They were the only Maryland band performing.

New Pocomoke development-

Davis Strategic Development

We are excited to break ground on 37 new waterfront townhouses in downtown Pocomoke! These will be a combination of rental units and units for sale. We have 3 waterfront units currently available for lease, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathrooms featuring 1,950 square feet of space with a private garage, waterfront decks, granite counter tops, and fiber internet.

In partnership with the city of Pocomoke, habitat for humanity, and DHCD the new for sale units will utilize the project uplift grant giving each buyer a $50,000 discount from the appraised value, which covers their down payment and give immediate equity! These units will be available by summer of 2026 so contact us today if you are interested in learning more!

Phase 2 is in design/ permitting phase so even more to come.
