Two Structure Fires In Accomack County

As of this writing Accomack County fire departments, Accomack County Sheriff's Office, Virginia State Police, investigators - the list is endless - have battled two more abandoned structure fires this evening.

These are trying times for those of us living in this area of the Eastern Shore and especially those who are called upon to respond.  Please remember that everything possible is being done to bring this to an end.  So, regardless of what your beliefs  and your opinions are please exercise politeness before you speak.

Many of those working on this horrible nightmare we've been thrown into have been in the area for weeks now.  They have been working  24/7 every day.  And I don't have to remind you that each and every fire dept.  and local officer is always there for us any time - 24/7.

**Please know that shortly before 12:30 AM these same fire departments were called upon for a third time.  This time a residential fire with occupants.  All occupants are out of the building- everyone is safe.  Maybe the pouring rain will help the two fires from tonight- sure doesn't help the firemen.**
