Thanksgiving Holiday Travel
Virginia State Police As you travel through Virginia this Thanksgiving Holiday, Virginia State Police reminds you of the "Move Over" law.
There will be an increase in troopers on the road, so stay safe and keep those who have to work the road safe too.

A lot if people don't know what the Move Over mean. Need to educate more.
The law says we have to move over, if possible, for emergency vehicles. Well, that's just common sense. But what about a policeman or trooper writing a traffic citation on the side of the road. That's not an emergency, is it? He's not driving an emergency vehicle, it' a damn cop car whose primary purpose is to catch speeders.
