Everyone knows we have a beautiful Cypress Park, but many people do not appreciate it. I was sickened by this scene yesterday! There are trash cans around the park. Use them! Or, you can take your trash home. The accumulation of bottles, trash, old soccer balls and dog toys is appalling. Come on, Pocomoke. Clean up after yourselves! Is there a youth group out there who would spend a day on service to the community? Is there a PHS student who needs Community Service credits? Cypress Park and the adjoining Nature Trail need some clean up! Who is going to step up to the plate?

No it's not OUR park, the City decides what to put there and what goes on there. Let the City clean it up they make all the choices.
Or the Police Dept. They're not doing anything productive.
That trash is most likely the result of the higher than normal tides we've experienced lately. I'd wager that the trash was pushed up on the rivershore of the park by the wind and tide. That begs the question, why would folks throw that trash in the river?
I'd vote this is the result of our high winds and tides as well. The community could come together and have a clean up.
I mean really? we should all come together and pick it up....no I didn't put it there but if I didn't leave for work in the dark to come home from work in the dark...I'd be out there....what's going on with our so call Downtown Association, do they not exist anymore???
