After more than four decades of service to Pocomoke City and surrounding areas the door to the dental practice of Dr. Richard L. McNamara closes for good today (Tuesday, April 30th). Dr. McNamara and his wife Peggy came to Pocomoke in the summer of 1977 when he joined the practice of Dr. Leon Meinster just around the corner at Dr. Meinster's office on Second Street. Dr. McNamara was successor to that practice when Dr. Meinster retired and the practice moved to the Vine Street location. Dr. McNamara's patients will miss the professional and friendly service he and his office staff have provided us. His retirement is well deserved. Dr. McNamara has been trying to find a new dentist to come to Pocomoke to continue the practice but so far no luck.
