2006..  A Pocomoke City youth group travels across the border from El Paso, Texas into Mexico to help the poor.

1930..  A forest fire claims over 3,500 acres in Worcester County.

1934..  (Ad) Prices start at $64.50 for a new electric or gasoline Maytag Washer at Harry B. Shaw's in Pocomoke.

1947..  Pocomoke City, Snow Hill, and Berlin have had enough of Daylight Savings Time and are returning to Standard Time before the rest of the state.

I don't know about a gasoline powered washer but I still have a kerosene powered Kelvinator refrigerator. No, it does not work but it still looks good.
