For Orioles top prospect- how long a Shorebird?

 (from info at camdenchat.com)

Earlier this week-

Jackson Holliday started at second base and led the offense. He went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, a walk, four RBI, and two runs scored.

(Wednesday)
Delmarva Shorebirds 12, Kannapolis Cannon Ballers (White Sox) 2

Delmarva had the most dominant showing of the night, moving to 4-1 on the new season. Every member of the lineup got on base at least once, and some did far better than that. And the pitching staff worked around some early struggles to shut Kannapolis down the rest of the way.

Outdoorrs fire danger

(UPDATE) As of Thursday evening the National Weather Service had not issued a fire danger statement for Friday.  Obviously, cautions issued in the earlier statement should still be observed.

Special Weather Statement

...INCREASED FIRE DANGER THURSDAY ACROSS THE LOWER MARYLAND
EASTERN SHORE...

On Thursday, westerly winds increase to 8 to 15 mph with gusts to
20 mph, becoming southwesterly in the late afternoon. Minimum
afternoon relative humidity values drop to 23 to 27 percent. This
will lead to another period with elevated fire danger, especially
during the afternoon.

Residents are urged to exercise caution if handling any potential
ignition source, including machinery, cigarettes, and matches. Be
sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses,
dead leaves, and other tree litter that ignite will have the
potential to spread fire quickly.

For more information about wildfire danger, burn restrictions,
and wildfire prevention and education, please visit your state`s
forestry or environmental protection website.

I can remember way back in third grade Susan had a serious heart condition that required very risky surgery. She used crutches to walk and everyone was really praying for her as the situation was touch and go. Fortunately everything went well and she turned out to be the magnificent lady she is today.

I am proud to have been your friend, Susan!

Your friend,
Slim
