The Pocomoke City Police Department has received State funding to equip two police vehicles with new License Plate Readers.
This will assist officers with enforcing traffic laws and improving traffic safety with new and modern technology. The cost to equip these two vehicles was over $30,000 and came to no cost of the city or the citizens of Pocomoke. For the first time ever our department currently has 3 patrol vehicles equipped with License Plate Readers.
(PIKESVILLE, MD) – The Maryland State Police, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), are asking residents to dispose of unneeded prescription medications during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22, 2023 at Maryland State Police barracks statewide.
