I was actually present for the Dunbar game at Cole Field House on that March weekend in 2002. I can remember Danny and Nancy Miles were seated next to us, just to our left. The crowd was unusually quiet, as if they were witnessing a miracle in progress. After all, Dunbar was the perennial championship team and the heavy favorite. David Byrd never lost his cool and acted as if this was just another game.
