Commencement of Full-Service Mission Operation of the New AgustaWestland AW 139 Helicopter


MEDIA ADVISORY: STATE POLICE TO MARK FULL-SERVICE MISSION OPERATION OF NEW AW-139 HELICOPTER IN SALISBURY

(EASTON, MD) -- Maryland State Police Superintendent Colonel Marcus L. Brown will join Dr. Richard Alcorta, Acting Co-Executive Director of the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System and other state and local officials at the Aviation Command’s Salisbury Section to officially mark the commencement of full-service mission operation of the new AgustaWestland AW 139 helicopter to be deployed in Salisbury. The pilots and flight paramedics who staff “Trooper 4” have now been fully trained on the new aircraft. They have begun flying the new helicopter around the clock on all Aviation Command missions.
