Tuesday, August 11th, is Municipal Election day in Pocomoke City. Voting will be from 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. at the Pocomoke Library at 301 Market St.
There are three mayoral candidates:
Susan Marshall-Harrison
Jacquelyn (Jackie) Ward
Michael (Mike) Shannon
The other office on Tuesday's ballot is for the District 3 Council seat. Candidate Daniel J. Tarr is unopposed.
Terms of office are for three years.

Is the new mayor going to assume office legally on April 13, 2021 or illegally on August 18 just because the City Council is incapable of following the City Charter?
