On September 13, 2022, 25-year-old Alyssa Taylor texted her mother that she would be riding with an acquaintance on his trucking run to North Carolina. The truck crashed on I-95. Police said only the driver's body was in the wreckage. Some belongings identified as Taylor's were in the truck but she remains unaccounted for more than a year later.
