The Citizens for a Better Pocomoke will meet this
Thursday, November 17th at 7 PM at the House of Love,
815 Fourth Street in Pocomoke. All are welcome! 

Now that the federal election is behind us, it's time to think
about the City election in 2017.  The Mayor and District 3
Council seats are up for reelection. 

Get involved and let's find good candidates for both positions. 

Be apart of the process so we can improve our town.

Sheila Nelson will be running for the Council seat for District 1.  Also, a suggestion was made to form a volunteer group to save the Armory (old police station) and make it a war museum.

1st Neighborhood Crime Watch Meeting

Worcester County Sheriff's Office is trying to establish a crime watch in Girdletree.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to listen to Deputy First Class Dale Trotter as he gives a brief overview of crime watch and and the necessary precautions to take against crime in your area.

Pocomoke: Community Meeting With Police

Here's your chance Pocomoke residents to let the Pocomoke City Police Department know how you feel about the crime in Pocomoke.



POCOMOKE CITY -- On Saturday, Aug. 7 at 10 a.m., all are invited to attend a community meeting at Bethany United Methodist Church, 205 Second St.


The Pocomoke Police Department is prepared to help residents become united to help them fight crime in the community.


There have been two other meetings with various suggestions.
