The audacity of Barack Obama could only be exceeded by the audacity of Nancy Pelosi. Doug Ross reports on how the military have been commandeered as common chauffeurs for Pelosi's children and grandchildren -- even on flights containing no congressional members.
It appears that this is all costing the American taxpayer millions of dollars, especially since Queen Palousy is only reimbursing the government for the flights at a bare minimum:
"Military flights cost between $5-$20 thousand dollars per hour to operate. Pelosi only reimburses the government between $120-$400 per flight. You and I pick up the rest of the tab with our tax dollars.
It's all perfectly legal, of course - or is it? Even if it is, perhaps we should start asking why a politician's children and grandchildren should have their travel subsidized at taxpayer expense?"
Not only is this a violation of her oath to run the most uncorrupt Congress in the history of the universe. It is a slap in the face of every American who is footing the bill. What's more, San Fran Grand Nan and her husband are multi-millionaires several times over -- and yet she still prefers to suck the coffers of government dry and ask Joe and Jane Average to cough up yet more in taxes to cover it.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Tuesday defended the transparency of health care reform deliberations so far, and said no decision has been made about whether to skip a formal conference committee process to combine the House and Senate versions of the bills, which differ significantly.
"We don't know what route we will take," she said during a press conference on Capitol Hill. "We will take the route that does the job for the American people."
Pelosi was pressed about whether she would open the negotiations to C-SPAN cameras, as the cable network requested in a letter to her Tuesday morning.
One reporter noted that during his campaign, President Obama had advocated for airing the health reform deliberations. "Really?" Pelosi responded. "There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail."
After her slight dig at Obama, Pelosi referred the matter to Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), a junior member of her leadership team. "Mr. Van Hollen, would you like to respond?"
Van Hollen argued that the health reform process has been transparent, but he did not commit to opening future negotiations. "There will obviously be discussions between members of the House and Senate and we will continue to keep the American people informed as we have on the earlier stages of this legislation," he said.
Pelosi agreed. "There has never been a more open process for any legislation in anyone who serves here's experience."
Several senior House Democrats, including House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, balked before the Christmas break at the notion of foregoing a conference committee to preserve the votes of moderate senators, who warned they would not support a future bill that is significantly different than the one passed by the Senate passed on Christmas Eve.
But Rep. Charlie Rangel of New York said pointedly today, "The Senate should know that we need 218 votes over here."
Democratic leaders from the House and Senate will meet at the White House with President Obama this evening to begin negotiations on the bills and to discuss the process to be used to move legislation through the chambers for final passage.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi joined a growing liberal chorus calling for a massive tax hike through the implementation of a value added tax (VAT). A VAT is similar to a national sales tax. Businesses would pay it at each stage of the production process and consumers at the cash register. European countries have had VATs for years. As we pointed out earlier this year, Congress should not pass a VAT to pay for a government takeover of the health care system or expand the size of government. If it does so, it will be a massive tax hike:
Just a 1 percent VAT on all goods and services in the economy would raise $63 billion for Congress to spend each year. Some suggest the VAT rate should be set as high as 20 percent. At that rate, a VAT that covers all goods and services in the economy – including food, clothing, housing, and health care – would collect an additional $1,260 billion a year and cost every
Even if Congress passes a VAT that has a rate of just a few percentage points, it would likely lead to higher rates in the future. Evidence from other countries that already have VATs show once it is on the books the rate tends to rise over time.
The American people would be better off if Congress stopped spending and instead reformed existing entitlements to make them more affordable and effective. Adding a new entitlement will only make the country’s fiscal situation worse and make painful tax hikes more likely.
Unfortunately, that might have been the plan all along.

The Pope leans towards Mrs. Pelosi and said, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, like that of your followers, but go deep into their hearts and for the rest of their lives whenever they speak of this day they will rejoice!”
Pelosi replied, “I seriously doubt that with one little wave of your hand? Show me.”
So the Pope slowly raises his hand and with lightning speed ................................................................................

Chairman Zero isn't much moved by our National Anthem:
His close friend and mentor doesn't like our flag:
So no one should be surprised that Nasty Pelousy has put the kibosh on patriotic music. From The New Ledger:
If you've ever been stuck on hold with a congressional office in the past, at least you've been able to enjoy some good patriotic music, as opposed to the lilting of generic smooth jazz that have been driving elevator users insane for decades. For years, congressional offices have played patriotic anthems as the background music during hold times.
Not any more. After we were startled by the hold music when we called a House office recently, sources on Capitol Hill informed us this week that the Democratic House leadership has made a sweeping decision that congressional offices now have the options of "smooth jazz" elevator music or no music at all.
But The Star-Spangled Banner can still be sung at baseball games — at least until MLB gets "bailed out."
Pelousy et al. must have thought patriotic music helped stoke the rage of constituents who call in because they cannot tolerate what these leftist traitors are doing to our country. Better the peasants should be lulled into a nauseous somnolence. Obama's Science Czar John Holdren, who has advocated putting sterilants in our drinking water, is probably working on a way to accomplish this pharmaceutically.

Not long ago, Nasty Pelousy was tickled pink when constituents disrupted her speeches:
Now that moonbats have total control of the system, and constituents are putting up resistance to socialism, disruptors are less welcome.
Don't accuse Granny Botox of inconsistency. She is always 100% opposed to America's best interests. Who could be more consistent?

President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Sen. Reid are expected to make this major announcement at a joint news conference later this week. I have obtained an advanced copy of the proposal which is named....
"CASH FOR CODGERS" It works like this... Couples wishing to access health care funds in order to pay for the delivery of a child will be required to turn in one old person on the day of delivery. The amount the government grants them will be fixed according to a sliding scale.
Older and more 'prescription dependent' codgers will garner the highest amounts. Special 'Bonuses' will be paid for those submitting codgers in targeted groups, such as smokers, alcohol drinkers, persons 10 pounds over their government prescribed weight, and any member of the Republican Party.
Smaller bonuses will be given for codgers who consume beef, soda, fried foods, potato chips, lattes, whole milk, dairy products, bacon, Brussels sprouts, cheese, or Girl Scout Cookies.
All codgers will be rendered totally useless via a toxic injection - similar to that given to the engines of the 'clunker' trade ins. This will insure that they, like the vehicle 'clunkers', are not secretly resold (traded in) or their body parts harvested to keep other codgers in repair and among society.
Maybe We can create an organization and rent ourselves out for trade-in . . .

Father of Cerebral Palsy Sufferer Tells Fox News He is Being Harrassed by "Thugs" of Pelosi, Hoyer, and Reid
Here is video of a Father, who confronted Democrat Rep. John Dingell last week at a Health Care Town Hall Event, talking about his experience with Fox News' Megyn Kelly.
The father, who has a son who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, said he and his family are being harassed now by what he called "thugs" of Government Health Care proponents:
He also cited a New York Post article from July 24 entitled, "Deadly Doctors," as one of the primary reasons for his great concern about how ObamaCare will impact his son and the nation.

"It forces us to take money from things we do need to fund and redirect it for things we don't need," Geoff Morrell, a spokesman for Defense Secretary Robert Gates, told the Wall Street Journal. "And in a time of war, we just can't afford that. The bottom line is, for everything that they appropriate for us above and beyond what we've asked for, it will, at some point require us to find money from programs we do need."
Lawmakers slipped the request into the Pentagon's proposed budget for 2010, insisting that Congress' current fleet of executive jets is old and more expensive to operate that newer, more efficient planes. They also say lawmakers use the jets only 14.5 percent of the time, compared to 44 percent usage by military members.
President Barack Obama sent Congress a Pentagon budget of $640.1 billion, which the House adjusted and scaled back to $636.3 billion. During that process, members requested $550 million to purchase eight passenger jets. Obama originally sought only $220 million to buy four planes.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told CNN's John King recently that illegal immigrants would not be covered under the reform being pushed by Democrats.
King asked, "And so what happens to a public hospital if they walk into the emergency room?"
Pelosi responded: "I do know that the law requires that if somebody comes in off the street and needs care, that is extended.
"What we see in this legislation is that people will have access to affordable healthcare, and it will diminish the number of people going into those private, public hospitals in the manner in which you described."
That statement makes little sense in light of Pelosi's assertion that illegals would not be covered, since in that case they would not be any less likely to seek care in an emergency room.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform's Director of Special Projects Jack Martin told CNSNews.com that illegal immigrants cost federal and state governments an estimated $10.7 billion a year in healthcare spending, including the cost of so-called "anchor babies" — children born to illegal immigrant parents in U.S. hospitals.
Those babies are technically U.S. citizens, but Martin pointed out that taxpayers would never have had to pay their mothers' medical bills if they had not entered the U.S. illegally.
Each anchor baby costs taxpayers about $10,000 on average, according to Martin, and these costs are paid through Medicaid.
The cost of emergency room care for adults is borne primarily by the states. Martin calculated that states pay a total of nearly $7 billion a year on healthcare for their illegal immigrants.
A study by the Center for Immigration Studies came up with a similar figure.
President Barack Obama, as well as Pelosi, has said illegal aliens won't be covered by a healthcare reform plan.
But on July 17, Democrats successfully defeated a Republican-backed amendment, offered by Rep. Dean Heller of Nevada, that would have prevented illegal aliens from receiving government-subsidized healthcare under the proposed plan backed by House Democrats and Obama.
The House Ways and Means Committee nixed the Heller amendment by a 26-to-15 vote along straight party lines.
This video has and shows many valid points of the lefts double standard that I challenge one, just one lib to dispute. I know, I know, It's impossible that the left have the intelligence to even make-up something to counter this. UNLESS, it comes from the Hussein Obama play book, (Alinsky)
