Those 'Pit Bulls' are such normal loving pets. (yea right)

Notice the "normal loving pet" is just watching, I cannot for the life of me figure out why some people are sted fast on thinking that Pit Bulls are like any other dog, they are NOT! and they are very unpredictable and dangerous. How many other dogs would eat a car?

I don't think it's fair to stereotype these dogs. We don't know what the conditions were for this dog to do what he did and we also don't know how this dog was raised.

I have known many pitbulls and have had one myself. A dog is just like a child and only knows what you show it or train it to do. Granted, there are circumstances. But you have to remember ALL DOGS HAVE TEETH! And any dog, or any animal, can turn on people.

I have also know a few terriers that could have probably tried to do the same thing to the bumper of the car. The only reason being their mouths weren't big enough.

I think it's time to stop giving these dogs a bad "rap" and educate people on the fact that all dogs are subject to being mean.......even your own.

I agree with you jmmb, and I've of the belief they are no bad dogs only bad dog owners. The Pitt breeds have an instict to want to guard, just like a Labordors instinct is to retrieve and certain dogs want to herd, etc. The Pitt breeds have to be socialized as puppies and need to have an owner who has had experience with not only strong physically, but strong willed dog breeds.
